Stadium Overview

New Cuthbury, currently known as the Wyatt Homes Stadium, is Wimborne Town's modern home on Ainsley Road. It replaced the club's old Cuthbury ground and gives Wimborne a more up-to-date Step 3 venue, with a cleaner, purpose-built feel than many older Southern League grounds.

The stadium is compact, tidy and practical, with the main facilities grouped around the clubhouse and spectator areas close to the pitch. It has a modern non-league layout with covered accommodation, seating, open hard-standing and good views from most areas. Because the ground is still relatively new, it feels more organised than a tight old town-centre venue, but it is still very much a community football ground rather than a large stadium.

Away End

Segregation is not normally expected for routine Southern League fixtures at New Cuthbury, so away supporters will usually enter through the normal spectator access and choose where to stand or sit. For bigger fixtures, local derbies or cup ties, Wimborne may introduce specific away arrangements and visiting supporters should check both clubs' match information before travelling.

When segregation has been used for larger fixtures, match information has directed away supporters towards specific parking and an away approach closest to the away entrance. That means away fans should not assume the same entry route applies to every match. For normal unsegregated fixtures, visiting supporters can usually use the same general facilities as home supporters, with a travelling group likely to gather behind a goal or along one of the busier sides.

Matchday Advice

The main advice for New Cuthbury is to follow the latest approach and parking guidance. Wimborne's recent match information has warned that Parmiter Drive is no longer an access route and that supporters must approach the ground via Quarter Jack's Park. Parking at the stadium is limited and has been charged at £1 for some fixtures, so arriving early or using alternative travel is sensible.

Supporters should also avoid obstructing emergency access routes, especially around Lonsdale Road and the club access gates. Inside the stadium, the ground is straightforward and modern, but covered and seated positions are still limited compared with the overall crowd, so arrive early if you want the best shelter or a particular view.

Tickets

Wimborne Town sell tickets through their official channels, including Fanbase for some fixtures and season-ticket sales. Recent away-ticket information has listed matchday admission categories such as adult, concession, under-18 and under-13 prices, but supporters should always check the latest match page because prices and arrangements can change by season and competition.

For ordinary league games, away supporters will usually buy standard general admission unless segregation or an away allocation is specifically announced. For bigger games, visiting supporters should check whether they need to buy through Wimborne, through their own club, or use a particular entrance. Neutral supporters wanting comfort should arrive early for seating or cover, while those wanting atmosphere should head for the busier standing areas.

Stadium Rules

Wimborne Town publish ground regulations for New Cuthbury. These include requirements that vehicles must be parked only in designated areas, must not obstruct emergency routes, and that drivers follow steward or club-official instructions when parking.

Standard football rules also apply: no pitch incursions, no pyrotechnics, no throwing objects, no glass in spectator areas and no ignoring steward instructions. Supporters should respect the artificial barriers, clubhouse rules and any match-specific segregation instructions in force on the day.

Accessibility

New Cuthbury is a modern non-league ground and is generally more straightforward to navigate than many older venues, but disabled supporters should still contact Wimborne Town before travelling if they need accessible parking, step-free access, toilets or a suitable viewing position.

Because stadium parking is limited and the approach route has specific restrictions, advance contact is recommended for anyone who needs to park close to the entrance. Away supporters with mobility needs should also check whether segregation is in operation, as that may affect the best entrance and viewing area.

Stadium Tours

Regular public stadium tours are not advertised for New Cuthbury or the Wyatt Homes Stadium. It is a working non-league football ground rather than a stadium-tour attraction.

Supporters wanting to see the ground should attend a Wimborne Town fixture. Any special access outside matchdays would need to be arranged directly with the club.
