Stadium Overview

The Mazuma Mobile Stadium is a modern purpose-built ground on Westgate in Morecambe, opened in 2010 after the club left Christie Park. Compared with many National League North grounds, it has a much more professional and structured feel, reflecting Morecambe's recent Football League history.

The stadium has four clear sides. The main seated stand runs along one side and contains hospitality, club offices, changing rooms and other key facilities. The opposite side is an open terrace, while both ends are larger terraced stands, one used by home supporters and the other commonly allocated to away supporters.

For away-day purposes, Morecambe is one of the more straightforward grounds in the division. The stadium layout is modern, turnstiles and stand allocations are clear, and away fans are normally given proper covered terracing plus seated options when required.

Away End

Away supporters at Morecambe are usually allocated the covered terrace behind one goal, known in recent away information as the Dennison Trailers Stand, with seated tickets often available in the side stand, recently listed as the Beyond Radio or Castle Windows Stand depending on sponsorship naming.

The away terrace is a proper covered end and is one of the better away sections likely to be used in National League North. Visiting club guides have also referred to five wheelchair bays and carer tickets available within the away seated end on a first-come, first-served basis.

Morecambe are used to operating Football League-style away allocations, so away supporters should expect clearer segregation and ticket categories than at many smaller Step 2 grounds. Buy the correct standing or seated away ticket and check whether prices increase on the day.

Matchday Advice

Morecambe is one of the more modern and organised grounds in this division, but parking should still be planned. Visiting guides have stated that there is no general supporter parking at the ground for some fixtures, with nearby school parking and street parking used instead.

The stadium is on Westgate and is not far from the seafront, but it is far enough from the railway station and town centre that supporters should allow time to walk or take a taxi. On windy or wet days, the coastal weather can make terrace football feel colder than expected.

For neutral supporters, the main seated stand is the most comfortable option. For atmosphere, Morecambe's home terrace is the livelier home area. Away supporters should decide in advance whether they want terrace or seated tickets, as the away allocation is normally split between the covered end and side seating.

Tickets

Morecambe sell tickets online, and the club's ticketing information states that away fans can purchase tickets through the link provided on the tickets page. Visiting club guides have also noted that ticket prices can increase on the day of the game.

Away supporters are usually offered standing tickets in the covered away terrace and seated tickets in the side stand. For some fixtures, under-14s must be accompanied by an adult, and children under two are not permitted in the stadium bowl.

For neutral supporters, the main stand is the best option for comfort and a central view. Supporters wanting the louder home atmosphere should look towards the home terrace, while away fans should make sure they select the correct standing or seated away allocation.

Stadium Rules

Morecambe operate standard professional football ground regulations at the Mazuma Mobile Stadium. Supporters should use the correct turnstiles, ticket category and stand allocation, especially for away fixtures where terrace and seated tickets are separate.

Recent visiting-club guidance states that children under two are not permitted in the stadium bowl and that prams or pushchairs are not allowed inside the stadium bowl.

Under-14 supporters may need to be accompanied by an adult depending on the fixture guidance. Away supporters should also check whether ticket prices increase on the day and whether parking must be arranged away from the stadium.

Accessibility

Morecambe provide stronger accessibility provision than many grounds at this level. Level Playing Field records 29 wheelchair bays plus carer spaces for home supporters, and five wheelchair bays plus carer spaces for travelling supporters.

Accessible parking is limited and must be pre-booked. Level Playing Field lists four accessible parking bays available on a match-by-match basis, shared between home and away supporters, with booking required at least two days before the fixture through the Morecambe club shop.

The club's ticketing information also states that disabled supporters are charged at concession price and that a free carer ticket is available where the disabled supporter requires additional assistance.

Stadium Tours

Regular public stadium tours are not clearly advertised as a standard supporter product at the Mazuma Mobile Stadium. The stadium does host hospitality, conferencing and commercial events, but that is separate from a normal public tour offer.

Supporters interested in group visits, community access or special arrangements should contact Morecambe directly, but matchday remains the main way for general visitors to experience the stadium.
